This is one of the first contests I've seen that actually offers prizes for top members.

Just thought I'd share.
Good luck.

This is a good thing, something that I encourage all of you to look for before submitting to any contests. So many contests are set up so that the folks running the contest obtain image rights when you submit.

I have entered the contest a few times. You are allowed to submit one photo per day, because of this there are thousands of entries each month. I think it is fun to just look at all of the other entries as well. Good luck to any one who enters!

The most wonderful thing about perusing sites like this one (and photo.net, as well, for instance) is the huge amount of money I'm saving... by realizing that it doesn't matter how much cash I might sink into this hobby, I'll be extremely fortunate if it takes only decades before I can produce anything as good as *many* of the images showcased there. Therefore, purchasing better eq would be a tremendous waste for me. Heck, if I keep looking, I might end up saving money on my current web hosting when I decide that sharing my efforts is just too embarrassing, and I finally close down the blog... =)

hey, mb, I was just joking about a similar thing today at John's site http://www.orbit1.com/ Sometimes his images are so good I feel like just quitting.
But then again, I have more people viewing my work online on a monthly basis then I would ever get at a gallery.
and I'm just a hack
