WTF Mate? My top 3 aren't even on this list. I guess that's what happens when you have one person limiting the choices. Anyway, my top 3 are:

What are your favorites that didn't make Kevin's cut?

Yeah, in my opinion there are some great sites missing there. Anyway, I guess they only included the ones started in 2004, so that limits the choice.
Surprising that some of the most popular sites at Photoblogs are at the lower part of the list.

There are some older than 1 year nominees also in the list, so I don't think there was a limit for the start of the photoblog.

That's funny, I have no idea how I ended up on there and far more popular, newer blogs didn't. There is a comment thread for the nomination process on there but I can't even find my blog mentioned on it, maybe it was a mistake.
Looking at my site logs I've had 30 visitors from that site over the last couple of days, out of 600-odd who have voted.

WTF Mate? I'm not even on this list...

I don't know how I got there either. Does anyone know anything about the nomination process as I didn't hear anything about it.
December 3rd, 2004 at 8:06 pm
Yeah I didn't hear about it either. Can someone please offer to redesign their logo?

They had open nominations for a few weeks. Anyone could nominate anyone else. Then the site operator supposedly sorted through the nominations and chose the finalists.

Don't be too upset. Does anyone really pay attention to things like that anymore anyway? It's all so very subjective...it seems impossible to put a "best" label on something. There's just too much good stuff...

I agree with Nicole. Although I have a very competitive nature, this "best" thing has gotten out of hand.

I wouldn't mind so much if they didn't allow people to vote once a day, surely that's just a way to get people to keep coming back to their site.

The reason some of you find the list lacking is that it's just one of those blog award things that you have to know about. If you didn't know about it during the nominations, you're only chance would be that someone nominated you. That's how I got in their. I just joined photoblogs.org tonight. I'm one of the only blogs in their that wasn't a member. So now I feel like part of the family.

Welcome to the "family" Brooks! You have some wonderful photography on your site.

Well, I don't care much about the voting, but I'm happy I discovered Brooks' site.

I've asked for my site to be removed. On closer examination the site doesn't promote a point of view I want to be seen supporting in any way.
Thanks for anyone that did vote for me.
