For about a year now, I've made it part of my morning routine to have my browser open over 250 photoblogs at once (tabbed browsing rocks) and then I go make eggs while the pages load. For breakfast, instead of staring at the back of a cereal box, I tab through these sites like it's a daily photography magazine. I bookmark the best images; the ones I want to remember, and I link to the ten most recent ones on my site.
Now that we're at year's end, I thought I might point you all to the archive of over 400 photographs I have linked to since December of 2003. They are compiled in reverse-chronological order. The oldest is at the bottom. New ones will continue to appear at the top. This page will remain up until New Year's Day. I am aware that many of the links are broken. Sites go down. Domain names change. Please only report broken links if you can tell me the correct URL for a given image.
Here is the Archive. Enjoy.

I really like this idea, Joe. I mean... I *really* like it alot. More of us should be doing this type of thing.

Thanks for the link, Joe! I was considering keeping a similar record of shots I like so I can find them again later, but truth be told I don't have the time to visit that many sites each day, especially with my slow dial-up connection. (note to everyone: provide an RSS feed, they make my life so much easier!). I am working on a new site though, so I might get round to implememting a link log as part of that.
Anyhoo, keep up the 'others' section of Shutter Release - it's introduced me to a whole bunch of sites I wouldn't have found otherwise.
