Thanks for posting, Brooks.
Can I add that if it were not for the efforts of my fellow photobloggers,
(Ed Wenn, Myla Kent, Heather Champ, Miles Storey, Btzera, Bill Vaccarro, Tread-- just to name a few wonderfully supportive folks). This situation might not have been reversed. Through their kind actions, I witnessed the postive power of the internet and the photobloggers.org community. Big hug to all.

P.S. As you can see, only the black and white outlines of the images originally appropriated remain on the site in question. Which is fine by me, off course. Would have been fine by me any way he wanted it, had he asked first, and never did ask him to change anything. What irked me was how easy it is to ask me, he didn't, ever, though he had plenty of chances...

Thanks Michal. I can't believe I read the whole thread. It was funny to see the copyright article from my commercial web site discussed there too. By the way, the article was written by Leslie Burns-Dellâ€™Acqua, and she let me use it on a variety of web sites that I designed because I asked her nicely. See how easy that is?

I first met Leslie on APAnet. Is that where you speak of Alec? It was a few years ago, but I haven't been around there a lot lately. We still keep in touch though. She's also been showing up on the PDN forums a lot lately too. She does get a bit of flack on PDN for her stance on licensing, but I always try to stick up for her.

This is the very same reason why places like deviantart.com aren't as popular as they were before.. I've had this happen to me (on DA) and there was nothing I could do about it.

I'm glad she found a resolve with the flickr staff.
