parella

i understand ur frustration, i'm probably one of those pple u're talkin abt too.. it seems there's so little time, so u just get on with ur own photography and it's human nature to be so selfish.. and yea that's not healthy. i think tt's why the photoblogs mag is such a great idea (thank u matt) coz it goes beyond the image (what photoblog surfing ironically tempts us to.. surface reality) n provokes thought, ideas... a variety of approaches. we all need that bit more inspiration.

cheers :)

Matt, I wanted to give a big thank you for the html version of the magazine. The traditional pdf layout was indeed beautiful, but for my little monitor it was a lot of scrolling back and forth. I appreciate the effort you put into this site and your willingness to take suggestions and work with requests. This is obviously an act of love as is photoblogging for many people. Thank you!

"nobody cares about anybody, they just want to have traffic to their own places..."

Parella, I think this is a much more complex issue than you make it. Yes, there are a lot of self-seekers and sycophants out there, but it doesn't make sense to just broadly say "nobody cares about anybody." Obviously that statement can't be true.

And, really, I find it so terribly ironic that you made your comment in response to Matt's post about Photoblogs Magazine. A while ago Matt and I actually had a conversation where he was showing concern about promoting his project on this blog... and I told him not to worry about it. He actually took the time to ask me first beforehand.

"theres an photoblogs.org forum on googles groups where you CANOT post, ( I have been there for 15 days and my subscription is still pending??????)"

This seems like a completely unrelated issue, but I'll respond to it too... When anyone tries to add themselves to the Google Group they are automatically prompted with a question that says this: "Whenever you post a message to this group it will be emailed to hundreds of people. Because of this we ask that you are mindful and considerate of other users when you post. Does that sound fair?"

You never responded to that question, so you were never added to the group. It's really just as simple as that.
