Every day we will be selecting an outstanding photoblog post from the images bookmarked as 'photoblog-posts' at del.icio.us and highlighting it here as our post of the day. We're looking for recent posts from sites registered with photoblogs.org that have really stood out to you as exceptional.
Using del.icio.us couldn't be easier:
You can of course use del.icio.us for a lot more than tagging photoblog posts, it's a great way of creating, sharing and finding links on just about any subject! Please don't use the photoblog-posts tag to bookmark your own work!
There are quite a few photoblogs.org members using the photoblog-posts tag already, but we'd like to see a lot more!

Great idea. Del.icio.us is a wonderful service and it is cool to see it being used in new ways.
Also, if you are using Firefox and del.icio.us, they just released a great new firefox extension today.

I thought that people weren't supposed to post their own photos. If you look on the photoblog-posts page right now, more than half have been self posted. :/

Roderick, people can do whatever they like on del.icio.us, of course we'll ignore the self-promotional posts, and hope that people stop doing it. If it gets ridiculous then we'll think of some other way, but I think it'll pass, there are only a couple of people posting their own links right now, they'll get tired of doing it.
Remember also that some people might get the wrong idea and think they're supposed to post their links to their own site, it happens, especially with such an international userbase.

great idea miles!
to make the tagging experience even easier, i can really recommend using flock (flock.com) as the whole 'favourites' idea in flock is based on del.icio.us.

You should point out cleary that one is not supposed to bookmark his own photos. "Enter a link to bookmark your favourite photoblog post." doesn't say that. My favourite photoblog could very well be my own

True, whatever, and I've been putting that at the bottom of the posts, "Please don’t use the tag to bookmark your own posts!"
