This is gorgeous. The colours are so cold and sharp.

This is a great way to discover new photoblogs - although I swore to myself that I would spend rather less of my life surfing through blogs. Oh well ... maybe after the New Year ...

There are always people in every crowd who will do anything they can to abuse a system, others do it without necessarily understanding it's not correct, it's unavoidable. Either way we will ignore any self-promotional bookmarking :)

Just noticed a couple people linking their own work via del.icio.us - didn't we agree some time ago that this isn't cool? Even outside the scope of photoblogs, del.icio.us isn't a vehicle for self-promotion, it's supposed to be a way of keeping records of your own browsing and highlighting the interesting bits.

Jessyel, right now the main site is being redesigned, it's in beta but Brandon is working on a raft of changes at the moment, and I'm sure this will be something to consider.

At the moment though we'd like to get more people checking out the blog, taking part, and this is something we've wanted to do for a while, highlighting individual posts on a daily basis to help get some extra exposure out there.

We will see how it goes, it will look a little silly if the blog is just a long list of these posts, but we're hoping people will submit stories, and once we get the blog accounts working there should be a lot more activity.

I'm not sure what you mean by submitting links though, we don't really have any control over how much people submit to del.icio.us and really, the more the better. I've yet to see people spamming the photoblog-posts tag list and I'd hope it doesn't happen, it's not going to get them picked :)

Although I'm liking this del.icio.us idea, is there a better way to present it? Perhaps have the thumbnail on the front page of photoblogs.org, rather than it taking over the blog (considering it's a daily thing).

Also, perhaps limit the amount of shots a user can submit each day? Posting 20 links for the same site from the same user kind of makes the viewing experience a little less favorable.

Other than that, I'm liking it. Another great choice today; excellent job Hervé!
