Tena koe ehoa
This type of portrait depicts a beauty in the sense of plain non beauty, which in my opinion is the most spectacular and emotive of all.
The subject has a natural inner security that is captured, expressed and personifies outwardly the very essence of the subjects persona.
Nonchalant, boyishly girlish, naturally sophisticated, tempered with diplomacy, opinionated, strong willed and personified plainly beautiful.
The purpose of any portrait should not be to display beauty where there is none to begin with. The falsity of that notion does not add to any portrait image in my opinion but, detracts from it.
For me, this good example is the essence of portraiture photography, capturing the essence of a person. The beauty will come from the truth of that expression!
To mahi ataahua ehoa! Tumeke!
Your work is beautiful friend! Awesome!
