A superlative portraiture Hendra filled with amazing character and expression. The overall colour-tone of the image is very suited to the subject and the environment, and brings a strong sense of the natural and earthy rawness of your portrait subject out.
His expression is priceless and the type street photographers would love to bottle and keep in their camera bag.
Compositely I think it's fantastic and if I had to change one thing it would be to include more of his hair/head area and less of his upper body. His hair has a great textural appeal and is visually, a great complimentary contrast of colour and texture against the background that could be maximised. This would also allow the shoulder line to be dropped from the horizontal middle of the frame I think improving the composition dynamically, IMHO.
His eyes darkened with age seem to exude a wisdom of time and if ask he'd be more than willing to impart his knowledge of life and learning.
A superb portrait indeed and a great one to view!
